Production Manager

Daily operations to supervise and monitor the production and delivery of our lighting,
furniture and objects collection including design, outsourcing, and research.

Represent the brand/ business in meetings, events, and any other platform domestic and
internationally, if necessary.

More Information

DESIGN (Research, Developing, Design, Engineering, Prototyping and Execution)

  • Help the design team to outsource and develop product prototypes
  • Research (materials & methods) lighting, furniture and objects

PRODUCTION (Supervision, Monitoring, Outsourcing, Value Engineering, Quality Control, Budgeting)

  • Weekly meetings and reports on production, tracking deliverables, and quality control on-site
    (vendors shops, warehouse, stores and showrooms)
  • Weekly site visits to vendors, contractors, and consultants to supervise, track progress schedule,
    and manage issues with production
  • Coordinate and inform the sales team with all production statuses
  • Maintain a detailed production log and create simple progress charts with production status,
  • issues and completion dates
  • Track Budget and payments to vendors and consultants
  • Vendor sourcing (metalwork, woodwork, glass blowing)
  • Material sourcing (metal, wood, glass, ceramic, upholstery, etc.)

LOGISTICS (Shipping, Handling, Crating, Tracking, etc.)

  • Help the sales team with any issues related to production, sourcing, delivery, and (rarely)
    installation
  • Coordinate crating, shipping and delivery

PRODUCT CARE (Troubleshooting, Customer Service, Product care, Repairs, etc.)

  • Troubleshoot and outsource any potential issues related to the products sold by Lumifer
  • Coordinate with showrooms and e-commerce retailers on any issues related to the products sold by Lumifer

REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS

  • Full time position
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Benefits (Health Insurance + 401K) after 3 months of employment
  • Salary: based on experience
  • No overtime

Sales Assistant

Daily operations of sales of both collections (lighting & furniture) and its coordination with clients, design team, production team, vendors, and subcontractors.

Represent the brand with clients over the phone, emails and in person at the studio/ showroom or in outside meetings, presentations, events, and any other platform domestic and internationally, if or when necessary.

More Information

SALES

  • Maintain sales database: clients, showrooms, e-commerce, vendors, subcontractors, production and product logs
  • Answer telephone calls or emails and assist customers with product inquiries and general brand information
  • Charge payments thru credit card or any other form or payment from client
  • Report all sales and charges daily to the office bookkeeper
  • Prepare quotes and follow up with clients throughout the sales, production and shipping phases
  • Work with the design/ production team with customization quotes, specs and production status
  • Call or email design and architectural studios to introduce the brand
  • Promote and sell products and services
  • Weekly sales/product meetings to review progress, sales and performance

PRODUCTION (Coordination with Production/ Design Team)

  • Weekly meetings and reports on sales, projections, inquiries, and payments with the production team track deliverables
  • Coordinate, inform, and present weekly reports to office bookkeeper
  • Maintain a detailed sales log and create simple progress charts with payments and coordinate with the production team, production status, issues and completion dates
  • Track budget and payments to vendors and consultants when necessary

LOGISTICS (Shipping, Handling, Crating, Tracking, etc.)

  • Help the production team with production coordination or installation if/ when necessary
  • Coordinate with production team crating, shipping and delivery with vendors and clients

PRODUCT CARE (Troubleshooting, Customer Service, Product care, Repairs, etc.)

  • Communicate and coordinate with clients and production team all issues related to customer care, product care and repairs
  • Coordinate with showrooms and e-commerce retailers on any issues related to the products sold by Lumifer
